Positions require ability to pass a multi-pass fillet & butt test in the 2, 3, & 4g positions using SMAW, FCAW, & GMAW processes. All tools and safety equipment provided.

| Marine Sheetmetal Mech's | Four years commercial/naval sheet metal experience as a first class Sheet Metal Worker in the installation of foundations, ventilation, bulkheads, and shipboard furniture.
Ability to comprehend complex ventilation assembly drawings, blueprints, and sketches to include weld symbols, material types, datum and reference lines. Ability to comprehend fractional and decimal dimensions as with the use of a ruler. All tools provide by shipyard. Most positions are for second shift and will be working on the new Virginia Class Submarines.
